In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed about the substantial number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there website is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The service level established for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, that click here makes it complicated for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
